Systems expert on the MK660 ATE. Responsible for maintaining and upgrading test equipment used for testing ADCAP heavyweight torpedoes. This test equipment includes electronics, hydraulics, pneumatic and mechanical parts. Responsible for testing torpedo software using complex test equipment to ensure the torpedo hardware/software meet stringent safety requirements. Build up ADCAP torpedoes. Provide field support to torpedo intermediate maintenance activities for the U.S Navy as well as Foreign Military Sales. Researched, designed and implemented RID’s in U.S. and FMS test sets. Conducted failure analysis for MK 660 torpedo test set. Tracked all preventative and corrective maintenance completed at all U.S. IMA’s. Researched new commercial test equipment to replace aging and outdated test equipment. Utilized digital and analog multi-meters, oscilloscopes, digital signal analyzers and processors, variable and fixed power supplies.
