    As an assistant, I worked closely with supervisors and cashiers to maximize member experience by aiding the cashier. I would often assist multiple cashiers at the same time which allowed for an effective and efficient positive increase of member flow through the respective lines. I also facilitated the upkeep of the store by clearing areas that created blockages, stocked areas that were low, and cleaned/sanitized the front end. I also directly interacted with members to ensure they had a positive experience throughout their visit to the store.

    Working for GameStop afforded me the opportunity to work with a highly motivated staff. Together we were able to increase our productivity and revenue. This store soon became the top-ranking store in the region and in the top 80, globally. I Also had the pleasure of taking our store’s social media page to the largest page in our region and state.During my work experience at GameStop, daily tasks involved marketing, customer relations, and teamwork. Continuous change is imperative. Marketing was changed out regularly which awarded this store with passing audits on a continuous basis. Continuously staying up to date with the new interests of our customers and re-evaluating our inventory Also among daily tasks, were interactions with clientele that focused on salesmanship, membership, problem solving, and sales quotas. Finally, teamwork was also a large part of our operation. Daily interactions and coaching were a necessity to create a positive culture for our guests and allow for progressive upkeep of not only the store, but the skills that empowered the store to operate efficiently.
