Delivered on time and on budget.• Shutdown legacy systems and reenegotiated contracts with vendors saving over $500K• Rescued a project gone awry: Completed the installation of a 3rd party vendor advertising, sales and financial system.• Established strong relationships with news, circulation, advertising and finance partners. Developed 3-year plan to support business and technology initiatives.• Reorganized staff and established excellent relationships and working methodologies with centralized infrastructure teams. Led an organizational change that resulted in a more cost effective and efficient group.• The Harborside Desktop Support became a model for how demanding, real-time editorial customers should be supported.• The International Team, because of the number of remote locations, also became the model for building standardized desktop and network solutions that can be supported remotely in London. • Developed 4 key directors. Strong track record of attracting and retaining technical talent in a tight market and without the benefit of competing at the higher salary levels. Many of the staff developed, especially managers, now play key roles in other DJ business lines. • Delivered numerous projects that Improved the speed, availability and reliability of the multi-vendor systems that collect, process and distribute real-time newswires.
