    I worked casually with my dad in carpentry over the years. I never took the steps to be trade qualified, but have a few thousand hours of residential building experience under my belt. I continue to do personal renovations as a form of therapy almost every weekend, such as building walls, roof repairs, hanging doors, carpet-laying, gib-stopping, painting and, my personal favorite, installing architraves.I get a sense of satisfaction from making things with my hands. I'm a perfectionist with an keen eye for detail and this carries over to most aspects of my life.
