     Research and Development on batteries to meet customer specification and run tests designed by internal and external battery manufacturers including A123, BMW, Audi, Porsche, GM and Rhenault.  Maintain excel database of over 1000 batteries for routine testing.  Monitor batteries stored at various temperatures to see the affects temperature has on the batteries chemistry. Temps vary from 23C°-80C° Perform routine Reference Performance Tests (RPT) using Maccor battery testers to determine the degradation of the battery as well as but not limited to the State of Health (SOH), State of Charge (SOC) and Direct-Current Resistance (DCR) of the cell over a period of set time intervals.  Record routine measurements on the batteries to see how different test procedures and conditions have affected battery life. Measurements include Open Circuit Voltage (OCV), Alternating-Current Resistance (ACR), Weight, Thickness and Volume.  Setup chambers for testing high current channels as well as voltage sense wire and thermocouples.
