    A year long environmental placementDuring this time I worked within and lead the terrestrial team. This included a number of projects regarding the terrestrial fauna and floral in the northern Aegean, Including Bird, Chameleon and Jackal surveys. Lead on a project focused on the measuring, protection and education regarding ancient olive groves, which were often being damaged by poor implementation of modern farming techniques. As part of this we encouraged the use of traditional farming techniques that promoted biodiversity.
