  • Project Coordinator (Electronic Laboratory Notebook Pilot Project)

    Coordinating an investigative pilot project into the use of electronic laboratory notebook software. The first half of the project involved undertaking an environmental scan, literature review and running several focus groups with researchers involved in chemical and biomedical sciences. The second half of the project involved undertaking a six month live trial with 10 researchers specialising in chemical and biomedical sciences. This involved the selection and procurement of an electronic laboratory notebook system, coordinating training and consultation between the vendor and the researchers and undertaking an evaluation of the software's effectiveness. A final report includes a range of recommendations pertaining to the future use of electronic laboratory notebook software at QUT and associated research institutes. Project currently in progress.
