    (in the NE102 class)- Conducted research about beta-secretase (BACE, a transmembrane protein that may cause Alzheimer’s disease by production of C99 and eventually, Aβ). - Found whether the BACE-LL/AA mutation affects BACE activity and localization (in Amyloidogenic pathway), through Western Blot and immunocytochemistry.Indirectly observed that LL/AA mutation affects levels of C99, BACE accumulation, and intracellular localization.- Discovered that BACE-LL/AA motif leads to higher accumulation of C83 within the cells.
