Perform some part time seasonal merchandising work. I initially took this position to try and encourage two of my grandchildren to extend the effort to find employment. Plan worked and both had jobs within a week. Position ended Christmas 2012. In early 2013 Lego began reaching out to me to perform seasonal retail merchandising resets for it clients. It developed as a part time position for the remainder of tenure with them in 2014.

Began January with oversight of the Energy client specific operation of Iron Mountain. In March was asked to be Interim General Manager for the entire Houston Operation of records management and energy management responsibilities including budget responsibility. Was General Manager for six months while Iron Mountain recruited a permananet GM. Still had daily responsibility over energy specific operations while performoing additional GM responsibilities. This included oversight of 400 plus employees and 13 record centers and 80 transportaion vehicles. Business unit was doing 50 million a year in revenues. Worked with market VP in the Iron Mountain acquisition of Oil Data energy solutions and Rockall Records Management company in Houston and Dallas.Lead point for the integration of all energy clients into the eSearch data management system for exploration data for North America. Worked with Iron Mountain locations in England, Scottland and Norway in establihing system specific operation specs for the eSearch system. eSearch was a product developed by Rockall to manage exploration specific data for energy clients.

Iron Mountain acquired Pierce-Leahy in February 2000. First asignment was to merge legacy Kestrel Records Management and Pierce-Leahy off site data protection service operations into the existing Iron Mountain hybrid IMOSPD operation including establishing its own transportation operation and fleet. Grew business from less than one million annually to two million and then wrote conversion plan to move the Houston business unit up under the direct oversight of the national Iron Mountain IMOSDP business unit. I was then moved back to oversight of the leagcy client base of Kestrel Data Management with records management and data management oversight for Oil and Gas Exploration companies requiring specific storage and service requirements.
