My role involved:• Taking luxury holiday enquiries from a number of different communication lines. These would range between conversations over the phone, online livechat programs, and often face to face.• It was my role to listen to the clients and to create a truly bespoke holiday that would be perfect for them.• Upon booking, I would take care of all necessary admin for the clients before their departure. Often this would involve liaising with colleagues in destinations such as Africa, The Indian Ocean, and Japan.I gained skills such as:• Strong communication skills to ensure that each client receives a bespoke holiday that would suit them, whilst building a lasting relationship• I developed my sales skills, as this was a very competitive market within the centre of London.• Time management was essential, as I was required to create portfolios for clients in a timely manner, whilst providing excellent customer service often before the client had thought to have asked.
