Technical advice on three projects. The first one consists of a neighbourhood upgrading project as part of a US$100 million loan to the Housing and Urban Ministry of Ecuador, to be implemented in October 2023. The second project entails supporting the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development in Chile in advancing their urban agenda called Cities 2050, aimed at strengthening the capacity of all cities within the country to design and implement long-term planning for sustainable and just cities. The third project consisted in supporting the Biobio regional government in Chile to address the sharp increase of households living in informal settlements.

Responsible for starting this Program, which received an initial grant from the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy (LILP) to install the Program, whose objective is to improve the quality of the discussion about urban and land policies in Chile. Chair of the Board of the Program integrated by eighteen members from the academia, parliament, real estate developers, public servants), NGO's directors, among others. Responsible for more than twenty research projects funded by the LILP, World Bank, IADB, National Ministries (Housing and Urban Ministry, Social Development Ministry), and Ford Foundation, among others. Recruiter and manager of an annual budget of US$120,000 to US$150,000 to be assigned to applied research on housing and urban policies and design of public policy proposals. Supervisor of a team of two permanent researchers working in association with many different professors from a broad range of faculties within the university.

Responsible for evaluating the Foundation's work and providing relevant information about slums to enable the Foundation to manage organised and updated information. Part of my role was to involve university students as research volunteers encouraging them to use their professional skills in thinking of possible solutions to informal settlements challenges and disseminating the work produced. I managed a team of three professionals and fifteen to twenty university student volunteers each semester (over 80 research volunteers during the whole period).
