    Survivor of battles of Iwo Jima and Okinawa. My ship was part of a support group in bombing Iwo and Okinawa protecting larger ships from enemy submarines. Later in life continued my previous professiona as a profesional musician playing at famous hotels with famous bands, mostly the big Latin bands, i.e. Tito Puente, Pupi Campo, Lecuona Cuban Boys, Tito Rodriguez. Also played at the famous Apollo Theater in N.Y. and the Jack Paar T.V. show. Most of this while a Firefighter and eventually Battalion Chief in the N.Y.C. Fire Department.
