DigiGirlz is a program organized by Microsoft and by the U.S Embassy in order to help high school students to learn about technology and allow them to talk to successful people who already realized their dreams like Sir, Ouadie Dada, and the general consel of the U.S Embassy in Morocco Jennifer Masamimanan. This program focuses more on strengthening the power of women in their environments. As a group of three mentors: Doue Rioui, Sofya Sellak, and me, we trained two groups of high school students to know more about creating a website, an application, and Arduino & Raspberry Pi robots. We taught them several interesting techniques to work with like Scrum analysis, UML & HEM diagram, BMC model, etc. Our mentees were able to win the first place nationally after creating two social entrepreneurship projects: Mekfof Education & Star's Craft.

It's a 4-week internship that targets students around the globe (36 different countries) that there are more than 2,800 fellows involved. As interns, we explore various topics that wouldn’t be offered in detail in the school setting such as personal finance, finding your career, mental health, relationship building, and so on. We attended 18 webinars that taught us real-world skills. We had the chance to learn from 30 mentors sharing their experiences and takeaways. These give us additional insight into different careers and help us narrow down our interests. My team and I had the opportunity to build our own projects that were selected to be one of the 20 finalist teams (from almost 60 projects): "Shopr" and "SnapScholar" Check it out in the link provided below!
