As the lead brewer of Arbor Brewing Company my role involves:1. Production forecasting and planning. Scheduling each departments such as manufacturing, quality control/analysis and maintenance teams throughout each month.2. Leading operations of each stage of beer production(brew days, fermentation cycle, filtration/centrifugation, conditioning, beer canning). Educating young and aspiring brewers(interns) as well as company employees in equipment handling and standard operating procedures. Leading beer Centrifuge operations with an industrial level Centrifuge of German build i.e. GEA Westfalia3. Due to my interests in operating each equipment and machinery and the care I take to keep them at the best shape possible I have been assigned responsibilities of preventive maintenance and head of Maintenance of all process related equipment at the factory such as Glycol chillers, CPVC Glycol lines of Georg Fischer, LPG fired Steam Boilers, Steam carrying pipe lines, Demineralising Water System, Effluent Treatment plant and various other back end utility equipments.4. Designing and executing unique seasonal beers brewed with ingredients sourced and inspired from the local indigenous culture of Goa as well as other parts of India. During my time here I have designed and executed beers such as : Strawberry blonde Ale, Orange and Ginger Saison, Honey Rye Ale, actively involved in crafting seltzers, Pastry stouts with Goan desserts, Pineapple and Lemongrass Kolsch.5. Head of Packaging: Packaging beers using Wild Goose Canning line to obtain the best results possible of shelf life stability of the beers by monitoring oxygen pickups(DO), colour changes, Microbial Petri dish plating for contamination checks, viable yeast count observations with haemocytometer. Obtaining best can seams and measuring the quality of the can seams(seam width, height,) using micrometer. Observing and inspecting quality of the cans procured.
