As an employee at South Austin Marine I have followed my passion for the boating and watersports industry into a career. My role has evolved from being a sales consultant to taking on projects within the dealership to grow with technology. Helping implement the use of computers by the sales team, streamlining and creating a uniform sales process for paperwork that would communicate with sales, finance, management, and service. And once an owner finds a person willing to take on projects you know that gets exploited, which also served me to gain professional training. South Austin Marine has sent me to not only sales training with the manufacturers but also to the Marine Dealer Conference and Expo, Surf Expo, and regional events. These events are filled with professional speakers discussing dealership improvements and growth. I have also trained the new sales personnel in our process' and product line for the last 5 years. As well as participating in the hiring of the pro shop manager for the last 6 years and assisting with ordering of the product lines.I took the lead on the inboard boat line we carry, Skier's Choice, in ordering the full inventory for the dealership. This includes selecting the options, colors, and importantly scheduling to take full advantage of manufacturer discounts. This product line is the reason I am at South Austin Marine having a lifetime of experience with the Supra brand.
