    I currently work intermittently as an online GCSE and A-Level tutor for English Language and Literature. This involves me tailoring bespoke lessons to the individual student’s needs and guiding them towards reaching their target grades through informative, yet fun, activities. It has allowed me to improve my time management skills as I must optimise the lesson time, as well as set aside time to plan my lessons outside of my university studies.

    This academic year, I will be working as a columnist in a double-column, which will be written as a letter exchange between myself (a student from Great Britain studying for one year at Radboud University) and a Dutch freelance writer who’s going to study in the UK during the upcoming semester. I will be writing about parallel-experiences in the home-country of the other columnist, which will then get published on VoxWeb. I am so grateful to have been given this role, as writing has been my main passion for many years, and I am looking forward to developing my creative skills in this setting.

    During my time at Superdrug, I have been able to develop my knowledge of various healthcare and personal products and provide a bespoke and personable customer service experience because of this. My duties range from working behind the tills, giving advice on various skincare and cosmetic products, cleaning in accordance with government guidelines due to the COVID-19 pandemic and unpacking deliveries. I am able to build rapport with regular customers and deliver a friendly service, whilst tending to my duties in an efficient and organised manner. Due to this, I have strengthened my ability to multitask and keep a level head under pressure.

    This role allowed me to develop my organisational skills. I collated and disseminated large quantities of data, allowing me to produce a document of leisure activities available to young people in the district. This required excellent time management and adaptability.
