      Wrote a master thesis on "The effect of salinity on growth, appetite and feed conversion efficiency on Atlantic salmon post-smolts; compromise between fluid and nutrient uptake in the anterior intestine". Atlantic salmon post-smolts were exposed to four different salinity regimes, Freshwater, 12‰, 22‰ and 34‰ respectively, for four month according to commercial aquaculture management. Intestinal fluid and nutrient absorption were measured using RT-qPCR method for mRNA gene quantification of specific genes known to facilitate both nutrient and fluid in intestinal tissue.
