    As the Vice President of Programming for the McMaster Social Science Society (MSSS), I held the important responsibility of implementing social events for the MSSS. I created engaging, innovative, and inclusive events which catered to the interests and needs of students, with a focus on promoting academic, social, and personal growth. My duties involved reaching out to external vendors, curating sponsorship packages, overseeing and maintaining a budget of $25,000, and booking spaces for events. I oversaw and managed year-reps, diversity officers, a formal committee, as well as formal co-chairs. I was responsible for delegating tasks and working closely with team members to ensure goals were being met. I was also in charge of planning and implementing the annual semi-formal and formal. During this planning process, I ensured that every detail was taken care of and that attendees had a seamless and enjoyable experience. This role has allowed me to leverage my creativity, equipped me with knowledge on the event planning process, navigating logistical challenges involved in event planning, and has allowed me to become skilled in finding solutions.

    The Yayri-Si Youth Foundation is a Non-Governmental Ogranization (NGO) amplifying the rights of women and youth in Ghana for economic, educational, and health development through advocacy and action. As the Vice President of Communications for the Yayri-Si Youth Foundation, I was responsible for maintaining old and new connections and relaying important information between the organization and its members. I was responsible for reaching out to future partner prospects, planning and marketing fundraiser events, as well as spreading the word about the Yayri-Si Organization and its goals.
