In this role, my duties included creating and checking gross margin analysis to make sure have correct/current information, forecasting, create slides for presentations, created and managed reports on retail customer's sell through of our product, work in customer portals, coordinated items for line reviews and tradeshows, managed our online platforms (Amazon, Walmart, Wayfair, Overstock, The Home Depot, Northern Tool & Houzz), assisted in managing our 2 largest retail customers as their daily contact (Mi-T-M and Tractor Supply), containerize any shipment that is shipping from China directly to customer to optimize space on their container for them, worked with contacts in China to make sure that shipments were leaving and they had everything they needed to get this completed, compiled data for monthly/weekly/daily reports to share with internal and external customers, and other duties. This position was changing all of the time as you could do something today and possibly never do it again or do it in a couple of months or even a year later. I started at Pace as a Customer Service Representative and within a little over a year I was promoted from within to Customer Service Manager. In my current position I examine documents that come in from customers, look over reports, create reports, research questions, track where customer’s current parts are, create budget for each year along with reforecasting budget every quarter, track on-time delivery, work in our system to set up orders, set up all masters in our system(part numbers, tool numbers, routings, configurations, etc.) , trouble shoot any problems that anyone internally is having with our system, create shipping documents (including international), create invoices, review customer files, speak with customers regarding their orders, visit customers as needed, coordinate any lunches or any other items that go with customers visiting us, and help on the floor as needed. I work directly with all departments to make sure that the production process goes smoothly and help troubleshoot as needed. Pace Industries integrated a new computer system (Odyssey) at our division back in 2016. We were one of the first divisions to get this system and it was new, so we had to do a lot of learning along the way. I helped with the preparation for getting the new system along with helped anyone who needed help with the system after it was integrated. I still help with this as people need help. We also have a division in St. Paul which I have helped with training when they need it or if they have questions. Special project teams: created job processes for ISO 9001 for all current dutiesPrograms used: Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Salesforce, B&L (Odyssey & Bliss)
