Initially responsible for a 6 week condition reporting project on the collection as part of Accreditation requirements. Over the next 4 years I was tasked with a major retrospective accessioning project, documenting objects and archival material and numbering them in accordance with established standards. I was then taught how to enter the descriptions, condition reports and new research information into the Adlib collection management database, including researching objects and resolving terminology dilemmas. During the annual Story of London event I helped with invigilating in the Museum and dealing with the public. I also assisted the Curators in selecting and displaying objects for a small exhibition. I advised on storage and conservation needs, including undertaking cleaning and simple repairs. Pest monitoring duties were part of my duties. I also supervised and trained other volunteers in the above fields.
