Zaatari refugees Camp As public Health Engineer Officer – Water and Waste water Infrastructure with OXFAM GB - Value of Implemented water network phase 1 is 2 Million JOD covering 5 districts in The Zaatari Camp of 6,000 m of pipes -Value of Implemented Waste water Network phase 1 is 3 Million JOD covering 2 districts in the Zaatari Camp of 40,000 m of corrugated PE pipes and its associated fittings , connecting it to Interceptor PRC tanks (Solid free system) • Design: Set out procedures, prepare BoQs/review drawings, and site supervision procedures for all related water and waste water infrastructure• Contract management: Liaise with contractors and their selected suppliers, ensuring all items are designed, manufactured, assembled and commissioned in line with agreed project specifications and fit for purpose - guiding contractors for setting out locations and ensuring contractor setting out is accurate and in line with project drawings• Monitoring: Establish systems and controls for daily site checks and documentation including production of installation and progress reports in collaboration with contractor’s representatives (for work implemented via contractors), or with Oxfam staff (for work implemented directly by Oxfam PHE staff, including routine work), • Planning: Create and constantly review work plans and progress against targets, estimating works completion dates and identifying project critical pathways. Responsible for ensuring PHE indicators (output and impact) are met. • Coordination & Representation: Identify main stakeholders involved, and establish effective working relationships with UNICEF, UNHCR, authorities, private contractors and WASH NGOs etc. • Logistics: To order equipment from Oxfam’s Purchasing Department as required. Keep close collaboration with the logistics department to ensure timely delivery and assess quality control of materials ordered.

Working with OXFAM GB in Tajikistan as a Public Health Engineer Officer/ Water and Sanitation Engineer in the capital Dushanbe of Tajikistan in the project of '' construction ofwater network and drinking water supply system in the villages of Choryakkoron, Gijdalobod and Chavliboi, Choryakkoron Jamoat of Rudaki District (Seconded to Dushanbe)Key responsibilities:Mange Construction of drinking water supply systems in the villages of Choryakkoron, Gijdalobod and Chavliboi in Rudaki district , Dushanbe - Identify and supervise technical resources needed to complete the assigned scope of work. - Review work done, quality, and ensure the project stays within assigned schedule and cost targets.- Ensure that daily site supervision is in line with agreed specifications and method statements, with comprehensive documentation of supervision activities- Ensure quality assurance, cost control and schedule management measures are in place for effective completion of assigned construction packages.- Ensure construction safety and community engagement standards and expectations are upheld throughout the construction and operations phases.- Ensuring linkages with OXFAM , HOKOMAT and other WASH players and authorities and work closely with WASH team throughout the planning, design and implementation stages - Monitoring and Reporting : Establish systems and controls for projects checks and documentation including production of installation and progress reports in collaboration with contractor’s representatives (for work implemented via contractors), This includes producing monthly technical reviews of contractor and sub-contractor performance as well as producing non-conformance reports, establishing a database and contributing to the close out of non-conformance.
