Associate Producer - Dateline
-
Dec 2019 - Nov 2021
Dateline is Australia's longest running international current affairs program. As Dateline's associate producer, I have produced award-winning documentary TV programs, including Gold New York Film Festival winning Hong Kong: Behind the Frontlines, and Walkley Nominated ‘Born Small’. A key part of my role is to multi-task and help drive multiple productions at a time, working closely with the Series and Executive Producer to plan a run of stories for the Dateline season. As a 'jack of all trades', I have unique experience of running productions from development and pre-production through to field and post production. I also collaborate extensively with producers and crew not only across the organisation, but across the world as the pandemic continues to change the way we work. SBS's keen focus on our audience means I have been able to pitch fresh and imaginative ideas that both engage our core viewers, and capture a new TV audience each week.
