While at CMGI, Hans was CEO of Planet Direct, a start up company that delivered internet content and community to consumers in partnership with Internet Service Providers. Hans also worked at CMGI HQ as Executive VP responsible for Strategic Planning Alliances and Business Development, managing partners such as Microsoft, Compaq and Sumitomo.A great exposure to the range of internet business and organizational models, best practices and the challenges of building early stage organizations based on new and rapidly evolving technologies.

Was a member of the orginal team that launched the AT&T Universal Card - the first combination calling and credit card. Universal Card acquired 22 millioin customers in 3 years, achieving $1.4 billion in revenues to become one of the largest card issuers as well as the youngest company to win the prestigious Malcom Baldridge Qaulity Award.While at AT&T Universal Card was EVP of Marketing and Business Development responsible for overall revenues, customer aquisition, retention and revenue maximization.In addition, as EVP of Electronic Commerce, Hans was responsible for driving use of the internet within AT&T and Universal Card. Spearheaded AT&T's smart card initiatives and participation in Mondex, one of the first global smart card consortiums.
