Vice and Virtue is a sister restaurant to Aperitivo but offers a fine-dining experience; delivering 5 to 10 course tasting menus, thus customer care is vital. I work front of house as a waitress but also behind the bar making cocktails and serving wine. I have to communicate effectively and efficiently to ensure top quality service is delivered throughout the customer’s entire experience and work well as part of a team.

Assistant Manager
-
Feb 2018 - Feb 2019

Leeds, United Kingdom
Due to the small size of this restaurant I worked as a waitress, bartender (cocktail trained), barista, and I was involved in all the cash handling and end-of-day reports. I also took on assistant managerial roles such as managing and ordering bar stock and handling trial shifts during the hiring process. I believe this shows my level of maturity, experience and professionalism. Here my bartending roles included making cocktails, pulling pints and serving wine.

I helped lead a team of 15 young people for 4 weeks through a range of different challenges that ended in them implementing a social action project. In this role I worked as both part of the team and as a team leader. I helped inspire and enthuse the participants to do things they didn't think they could achieve.
