Within 3 months of employment, I have been tasked with training new staff to an industry grade standard of hospitality. I have worked closely with both my manager and other staff to ensure any issues or complaints are handled within a time frame.Since I joined Habitat HQ, I have been monitored and rewarded with the position of Housekeeping Manager which leaves me responsible with a team of 4 under my instruction. My successes in this position includes an increase in staff morale, introduced new effective means of communication between staff and the delegation of tasks during peak periods to ensure all tasks are completed by the end of the shift.

    I was involved with the construction of the Four Seasons Hotel in Kuala Lumpur. I worked closely with the head engineer with the daily site inspections and the progress of construction. I was also responsible for ensuring a clear and direct line of communication between all consultants on-site. I also assited in the supervision of construction as well as bringing up any occupational hazards.Within my 3 months I have learnt to be comfortable within a construction site as well as understand the hazards involved within.
