    Millennium Associates. Denver, COCEO/President – 9/01 to 11/12Founded and operate this global consulting practice focused on providing large-scale change interventions, leadership development, and coaching. Selected projects include: GPU Nuclear (A Division of General Public Utilities). Created, marketed, and delivered post-downsizing training (“Thrive, Lead and Change”) to approximately 1,000 officers, directors, managers and engineers. The purpose of this program was to surface organizational issues and refocus team and individual efforts. In addition, I co-designed with the client and delivered a three-week intensive “Facilitative Leadership” course, and trained and certified 150 internal change agents to help shift traditional management styles toward more facilitative and participatory leadership. Fujitsu Consulting (Telecom-360 division/formerly DMR Consulting). Sold and provided executive coaching, leadership development training and organizational assessment to the Senior Leadership Team of this telecommunication consulting firm. Designed and facilitated multiple all-hands meetings via teleconferencing and videoconferencing technologies.Quest Diagnostics (Dallas business division). Provided leadership coaching and mission alignment and team rollout meetings for all employees in the Dallas division. These meetings coincided with Six-Sigma productivity work; the parent company is currently considering the work done in Dallas for wider distribution in other Quest markets.

Sold to the VP of Human Resources and the Director of Mervyn’s Corporate University a training program for high-potential/high-performing leaders and managers. In addition, I designed, developed, this (“Breakthrough Leadership”) training that is considered critical for all store team-leads and senior buyers identified for promotion. The program received the highest overall ratings on end-of-course and follow-up evaluations in Mervyn’s University’s history. Duke Energy. Project manager for a major culture change initiative for this public utility company. This three-year engagement included consulting with the Chairman/CEO and his leadership team, and managing all aspects of program design, delivery, and deployment. This project required 25 internal and external facilitators to staff the work. Ultimately, over 20,000 employees participated in two, four or five-day training events. This effort has been widely cited in industry publications (Edison Electric Institute, ASTD Training and Development Journal and others) as the model for cultural interventions in electric utilities. Lehman Brothers (Asia Region/Japan and Hong Kong). Sold, designed, and conducted cross-cultural leadership assessment for this multi-national investment banking firm. Provided consulting and coaching to the managing director and senior leadership team. Designed and delivered cultural awareness training for the entire management team. JP Morgan Chase & Company. Designed and delivered vision, values, and alignment programs across global geographies over a ten-year period. Contributed to pre- and post-merger culture change initiatives in North America, England, Asia, Australia, and the Caribbean.
