    I founded and ran this business for over quarter of a century. During that time we had one name change from AB Copyright to AB4 Ltd as we felt that better reflected that AB was 4 so much more than the office supplies we had been associated with for so many years. And traded form three separate premises - firstly at Batley Carr, then at Halifax and finally from a larger commercial unit in Holbeck Leeds.The business became a family run affair with my wife and then my older son joining the team during the 1990s and 2010s respectively.We managed to pick up a number of Industry Awards along the way and successfully bought out a competitor in 2007 which helped expand our offering further into office furniture and installations. We continued to move forward and by the time we decided to sell the business to ASK in 2018 we had become a true "one stop shop" solution for all areas of the workplace - whether that workplace was a business premises, home, school, council, doctors, warehouse or any other place you might work in and from.
