Besides working for my DAD on a Dairy and Hog farm, I milked cows, cleaned calf pens, and did field work for several farmers, when they wanted a week-end off. I also drove a straight truck hauling 10 gallon milk cans for the Lowry Creamery on Saturdays.. Since I was not old enough, a retired man with a commercial licence (who couldn't do that kind of work, since the cans weighed about 90#) rode with me to make it legal. We drove 2 routes per day.
