    Research aims to analyze meanings of entrepreneurship in rural Bangladesh, considering entrepreneurship as a possible tool for Hindu Dalits to access new flows of wealth and sociopolitical inclusion amidst a background of intense marginalization. Combining theories from the fields of anthropology, economics, international development and business, research findings will inform how entrepreneurial tools are being used by the Dalit community to breakdown social stigmas and challenge systems of power. Upon conclusion, this analysis will be relevant for Dalit communities across South Asia, with broad relevance for development practice amongst marginalized groups globally.
