    I have previously been involved in R&D, engineering and construction for utilities (present E.ON/Uniper) for radioactive waste management (SKB in Sweden and present JAEA in Japan) and for the mining industry (Boliden, LKAB). During 2000-2010 I was providing expertise and management through my own company Conrox e.g.managing a research foundation (Bergforsk) and the company RTC as well as initiating and managing several international business consortia. Much work was as well devoted to management consultancy (e.g. due diligence, strategic/business/risk management plans, feasibility studies). During the years 2011-2015 I was employed by LKAB as VP Public Affairs and Corporate Advisor Technology & Business Development with Brussels as the main arena and reporting to the LKAB Group President and CEO.The years 2016 - 2021 I was again running my own consultancy through SAS KAWANO with the office in the French Alps. I dealt with the interfaces between Science & Technology, Business and Politics. Typical assignments were Research & Innovation strategies for Government, Academies and Business , lead author for winning EU grant proposal as well as sustainability and socioeconomic studies.
