• Focusing on Theoretical Physics, Renewable energy technologies and laser technologies. On wind energy, the focus is on the performance optimization of power output in wind turbines for low wind speeds turbines and the combination of diffusers and concentrators. Solar energy application is one of the other focus research area, this includes solar heat concentrators and modelling of heat flow in buildings. I am also involved in laser physics research, this include laser beam shaping, generation of Gaussian beams with flat tops, Creation and detection of vector Bessel beams using digital axicons. The other area is biomass energy, the aim being to optimize the fuel production through parameter optimization and passive solar energy efficient buildings.• The integration of solar energy and energy efficiency measures in residential buildings is the other main research focus area. Some of the topics researching on are; Creation and detection of vector Bessel beams using digital axicons. •Simulation of heat transmission in buildings. •Fuel quality and bio-digester material relation (PhD). Optimization of fuel production in downdraft gasifiers •Optimization of low wind speed turbines (PhD) Performance optimization of Bio-mass digester (PhD) •Impact of roof ventilator power generator on the temperature distribution •Optimization of wind concentrator power output •An automated temperature regulated bio-digester design and performance (PhD) •The performance of low-cost energy efficient house. (MSc) •The effect of ventilation on the thermal performance of an energy efficient house. (MSc) •The thermal impact of small wind turbines attached to residential buildings on the indoor environment (PhD) •Analysis of wind turbulence in wind concentrator systems (PhD)
