    The primary responsibility during the period was to look after the Local issues with the different Govt. machinery associated with the business, Trade bodies like Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Bangladesh Employers Federation, drive Cigarette manufacturers Association, and to stand in for the Managing Director during his absence in the countryAs Vice chairman of Cigarette Manufacturers Association, worked into the strategy of introducing Tax stamp/ Banderoles in the Cigarettes packets to create level playing field for all manufacturers resulting to elimination of tax evasion and in the process the Got revenue was significantly increased.Industry wise cigarette price was increased to avoid tax evasion and keep the Industry profitable and Govt. achieved year on year growth in revenue collection.Worked actively with the Health / Law Ministry to formulate Tobacco law in the country.Worked as Chairman of Anti illicit trade, Smuggling has been virtually eliminated in the country in the Cigarette sector.Representing Bangladesh Employers Federation in the committee of formulation of new Labour law and submitted recommendation to the Labour ministry in line with the current reality.
