    AP Seminar — design and implement rigorous and well-scaffolded lessons on argumentation, critical thinking, research, source validation and attribution, and writing. AP Seminar is part of College Board’s AP Capstone Program and emphasizes student-driven research projects with both written and presentation components, and which consider real-world implications and solutions. Grew the class’s enrollment by 300% since 2017, mostly through students’ word of mouth. All students (100%) have passed with a 3 or higher, with an average score significantly higher than both the Massachusetts and global average. Television Production — teach all aspects of production, from shot listing to shooting and framing to advanced video editing with Final Cut Pro to ethical use of video technology and copyright. Manage weekly student show broadcast to 1300 students and staff. Seek regular feedback from colleagues and students about audience interests and opportunities to elevate school culture and increase inclusivity. Piloted the school’s first videojournalism course. Awarded substantial grant from the Hingham Education Foundation to fund videojournalism equipment.
