This was very easy to sell, the places I worked for:- the Manhattan Penthouse has magnificent views all over Manhattan. It was spectacular in the evening. It was ideal for Weddings, some weekends we hosted 2 or 3 Wedding Receptions- the Alger House was smaller, style art deco with huge ceilings. Very conducive for smaller functions up to 100 persons

I was in charge of the Restaurant which has beautiful wall to wall murals painted by hand. I approached all the companies around the Hotel and invited the people to a complimentary glass of wine with the meal. And in order to build a mailing list I collected business cards and did a raffle once every two weeks for a complimentary bottle of wine.I was also in charge of Cary Grant Suite with a large terrace on the top floor. Every one wanted to have a party to see where Cary Grant used to live and the 2 Ballrooms on the second floor.

I was in charge of the two large Ballrooms on the second floor and two medium size Ballroom on the 16th floor with an open terrace. I did Wedding Ceremonies on the terrace, Cocktail Receptions on the other side and Dinner Dance in the big Ballroom. And Corporate functions during the week according to the number of people.

This was superb. I did functions for Kings, for Queens, for Presidents and for Millionaires. The views were phenomenal from every angle.I did the Anniversary of the Brooklyn Bridge in tent for 2000 people under the bridge and the Statue of Liberty Anniversary on the Observation Deck, in the morning for the parade of ships and in the evening a party for 1000 people with the Streets of New York theme.
