    Over and above maintenance of electrical equipments of port (Mundra), I was looking after maintenance of 66 KV switchyard, 6.6 KV/ 11 KV substations and various DG sets, I have to carry out the following work- Admin work like budget meeting, spares management- Liaison with GEB, Electrical inspector- Follow up with GEB for new connections of 11 KV- Arrangement of training programs, seminars- Technology Update- Review of stoppages and fault analysis to reduce stoppages- Interaction with vendors- New recruitment- Dealing with vigilance- Maintenance of colony and Guest houseI have basic knowledge of PLC, SCADA, VFD and AutomationI was also assisting Adani Port office at Ahmedabad for drgs approval related to on going projects. During my tenure Mundra Port was paying Rupees 1.5 carores monthly electricity bill , it speaks volume of work for electrical department .

This electrical work includes commissioning of HT/LT Transformers, switch gears, HT/LT motors, Centralized sequential operation etc. I was also involved for performance guarantee test ( PG test ) for many projects . Commissioned 56 HT slip ring motors, (630 KW, 3.3 KV) -BCCL, Damagoria, Asansol-NMDC, Donimallai (Bellari)-South Central Coal field, Nagpur(e) Steel PlantBokaro, Bhilai , Durgapur ( west Bengal ) , Jindal (Raigarh , Raipur) (f) Fertilizer Plant Paradeep Phosphate ( Orissa) During my career I have commissioned large no. of HT/LT motors at various projects.I have come across various problems during commissioning of motors, such as, - IR value of motors/cables- Starting current of motor- Accelerating time of motor- Relay setting, Voltage drop, cable selection, discrepancy in control circuit, bearing temperature, winding temperature, surge arrestor for HT breaker, noise level, vibration problem etc.For some time I was service head for power transmission equipments like gearboxes (warm, helical) , couplings (fluid , flexible, rigid) etc. I was also looking after the services of magnets , belt weigher ,metal detector , bagging machines made by Power Build group company of Elecon .
