    Gerwyn Duggan was employed by Corus (now Tata Steel) as a metallurgical technician, duties included, quality control, testing mechanical properties of steel, which was to be used in the manufacturing of car body parts, white goods etc. Products tested included cold rolled steel, hot rolled steel, and galvanized steel and vitreous enamel coated steel. Assuring all products were within specification, including the tensile properties and the chemical properties, before delivery to customers. He resigned from the position in 2002 to pursue a full time career in network marketing, and also to devote more time caring for his disabled daughter who had undergone a heart transplant the previous year
