Asset Manager (1993 - 2000: Coordinated, monitored and participated in activities of multidisciplinary team: - East & South Area 1999-2000 (Sask, Eastern Alberta, Harmattan, Swan Hills, Sturgeon Lake, & Snipe Lake) - Worked with Geological Team Leader to drill 1100-m HZ Wabamum gas well in Crossfield area. - Achieved production target of 80 mm/d and 19,000 blpd for 1999 - Personally managed exploitation of Harmattan - Whitecourt Area (1997-1999)_ - Facilitated the growth of the Whitecourt area over a two year period from a few properties producing 6,000 boe/d to larger more dominant area producing 20,000 boe/d - Responsible for drilling two HZ oil wells in Niton Rock Creek H Pool each capable of 1500 bopd. - Obtained GPP & Concurrent Production for Niton Rock Creek "H" Pool (15 mm bbl OOIP, 44 bcf OGIP sol’n gas & associated gas cap) which resulted in significant production increase. . - Peak production after scheme approval was 1500 bopd and 10 mm/d gas vs 300 bopd & 0.5 mm/d prior. Pool is still producing 300 bopd and 3.5 mm/d of gas. - Negotiated a 40% fee reduction at Chevron Kaybob K3 GP as Chairman of the K3 User Group.Eastern Alberta Area (1993-1997) - Led team to increase production from 35 mm/d to 85 mm/d in the span of 2+ years by persuading Management to keep the area and spend more money. Key year was 1994 with 26 mm/d added. - Initiated underbalanced air drilling into gas zones up to 700 m deep using water well rigs (1994). - Developed the John Lake Heavy Oil Property into a 65 well, 1500 bpd heavy oil project. - Implemented development of "Resource Management Plans" for the Eastern Alberta oil/gas well propertiesExploitation Engineer (1991-1993) - Chairman - Birch Wavy Task Force - Viking Kinsella Sparky F Pool Waterflood Optimization.

An average of 10-15 Major Projects were executed per year with 5-8 engineers per year. - Personally handled several major projects each year myself.Facility Engineer (1978 -1980) - Implemented several projects including: several new skid-mounted water injection plants; battery upgrades, and 20,000 bopd Bonnie Glen oil satellite.- Other duties included review & approval of equipment requisitions, quote evaluations, vendor drawing approvals, and shop fabrication inspections.
