    Gerald Wayne Haddock is the founder and president of Haddock Investments, formed in 2000, a Fort Worth company that funds and manages investments in real estate (primarily retail development), oil and gas exploration, securities and alternative assets. Haddock Investments developed projects for Starbucks, Arby’s, Capital One, Chili’s, and National Tire and Battery. In 2019, Mr. Haddock became the co-founder and co-CEO of Vital Energy Acquisition Corp, a Special Purpose Asset Company (“SPAC”) that intends to be an energy space SPAC. Mr. Haddock’s success with SPACs include Union Acquisition Corp. that completed a successful merger with Bioceres in 2019, as well as Union Acquisition II that raised an Initial Public Offering of about $200 million in 2019. Mr. Haddock has more than 30 years’ experience as a director of multiple profit and non-profit public companies, including Valaris plc, formerly Ensco, one of the world's biggest off-shore drilling companies, and Meritage Homes, a national home builder.
