Bearings,speed reducers, holding bins, silos, welding and maintenance of all the quarrying equipment. Involved in all aspects of the surface mining experience from hands on helping blasters to ticketing at the scale house.

    Structural Surveyor / Inspector: Inspect steel structures on ships using blueprints, working drawings and engineering data sheets involved in the construction process. Organize and oversee nondestructive testing. Inspect for quality and quantity of work performed by ironworkers, ship fitters, boilermakers, pipefitters, millwrights, welders. Have all deficient work corrected. Keep written records of progress and prepare areas for formal inspection. Coordinate formal inspection involving purchasers, regulatory agencies. U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Maritime Commission, and the American Board of Shipping. Work as go between for Bethlehem Steel and the fore mentioned agencies. Keep in contact with such agencies for purposes of good will and liaison.
