    Main duty: Lead projects and conduct extensive research on workforce planning and development.Specific duties• Identify priorities and undertake research on the current and future needs of specific workforce sectors and forecast industry workforce and training needs.• Gather, analyze, interpret, and report on industry data and other information and research related to current and future workforce needs, skill development initiatives, and strategies. • Use quantitative and qualitative data to identify baselines, trends, and differentials. Perform research SWOT/SCOT analysis.• Project manage research projects and work with team members to identify project goals, research methods, variables, milestones, validation, and evaluation through to project completion.• Conduct stakeholder engagement, forums, and industry roundtables for research and skills audit to identify gaps.• Collect and report the information and meaningful intelligence provided by stakeholders within appropriate ISACNT systems.• Establish project management systems, and research and reporting methodologies to align with multiple stakeholders' needs, including Government and industry.• Establish systems for the management of data from various data sources, provide guidance, and share with team members.• Prepare extensive reports, papers, articles, social media, or presentations on the research, data, evidence, and findings for a broad range of audiences.• Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders and industry peak bodies. • Establish and maintain networks with relevant research and data organizations, Government, and relevant agencies.• Manage or participate in evaluation projects to ensure results are being achieved.
