I was recruited by Electronic Data Systems (EDS) in July 1985 as a COBOL Analyst-Programmer, and progressed to Production Support Manager, Systems Consultant, Service Manager, and Lead Core Application Development. EDS was acquired by Hewlett Packard in 2008.During my time at EDS/HP I enjoyed over 30 years’ experience working exclusively for major companies across the Manufacturing, Logistics, Telecommunications and Finance industries.Recent major achievements include delivering significant cost savings for Nokia and Alcatel-Lucent by facilitating the closure of multiple data centres across Europe and Asia, and successfully marking 20 years’ service for Vauxhall Motors by enabling the rejuvenation and transformation of their sole UK warehouse.
