    I am an ex-banker with over 43 years of rich banking experience. During my tenure at Central Bank of India, I was Training Officer for around 8 years at Chandigarh and at Patna. I am a science graduate, a post graduate in English and a certified Associate of Indian Institute of Banking & Finance, Mumbai. While in service of the bank I wrote a book for internal promotions in banks which caught the fancy of bankers throughout India. In the year 2000-01 when GOI launched VRS in public sector banks I opted for Voluntary Retirement and left the bank job in July 2001. I started conducting preparatory classes for promotions from clerical to Scale I/ Scale I to II/ Scale II to III and Scale III to IV for all public sector banks and RRBs and continued conducting such classes almost all over India . After I stopped conducting classes about 3 years back I switched over to Distance Learning Module for Promotion Tests with degree of success at par with classes. That is perhaps the reason that some bankers refer to these kits as “Brahmastra’ On popular demand I ventured into conducting classes for JAIIB and CAIIB besides those for Promotion examinations in the year 2008 and continued these classes till about 3 years back when I switched over to Distance Learning Kits for JAIIB / CAIIB and to my surprise I got overwhelming response (perhaps better than what I got for my kits for Promotion Tests) Teaching is my passion and Banking my specialty which drives me to reach out to more and more students seeking help and guidance in grasping mind boggling concepts in banking and finance. And it is gratifying to see them overcome their fears and inhibitions towards the subject, and gain confidence to succeed in the exams and in their career. It is this success rate of my students and their feedback that encouraged me to develop quality distance learning kits to fulfill the need of self-paced learning.
