    I work in a program called the Bonner Leadership Program. It is a national program that is in many colleges across the nation. The aim of the program is to get college students interested in civic engagement. We are put in a community site and work at that site but its an on campus job so we are paid through the college. My site is Bethany Lutheran Church in Seward, I work as their community outreach coordinator. I go around the Seward community and try to find out where there is need for Bethany or just to try and get Bethany more in the community. This job included face to face conversations were residents of the Seward neighborhood, office hours and office work, meetings (making them, running them, and also attending them), a lot of odd jobs around the community (lots of variety), and being a community leader in certain programs I was running.
