    I calibrated and supervised recording sessions for Motion Capture classes for the Bachelor of Design Major and Minor Papers. I occasionally went into classes afterwards and helped students with their data tracking, as well as any other issues down the pipeline.These classes included introduction level to Motion Capture, as well as more advanced classes, which involved the Vicon Cara facial capture system.

    I worked under Javier Estevez as an assistant technician in AUT's Motion Capture studio. Under this position, I helped develop a pipeline for the Vicon Cara system for both academic and commercial purposes. I also helped assemble the hardware as well as undergo software training for Motion Capture workflows. I assisted in testing outdoor motion capture shoots, where we re assembled the Motion Capture Rig in several outdoor environments. These tests were useful in understanding efficient techniques for future specialized motion capture work.

    I was part of the team that tested unloading, transporting and re-assembling a Motion Capture studio for the commercial RwC shoot. During the actual production, I was primarily responsible for Setting up the cameras, aiming and focusing towards the capture space.The rest of the shoot was mainly setting up 8 rugby players with reflective markers bound by medical tape.I was then part of the small group that cleaned the motion data as well as re targeting them to maya rigs.

    My main responsibility was being on set, assisting the actor with the Vicon Cara Hardware. I also did post cleanup of the Facial capture data for the actor's recordings, as well as tracking their body capture.

    My main responsibility was motion capture data tracking for at least 70 takes, alongside a fellow student. Secondary responsibilities were setting up actors with reflective markers and velcro suits.I also problem solved an issue where motion capture data was play backing and exporting in slow motion after being processed in motion builder. I figured out that Motionbuilder was not compatible with motion capture data recorded at 96 frames per second. I fixed this issue by resampling it to another frame rate which fixed this issue.
