GAPL is having 1000+ manpower in total. Bhivandi plant around 400 Nos., field sales & service around 450 Nos. and 150 to 170 at corporate office Mumbai. In addition we also have 250 contractual at factory. This is a company with 350+ crore turnover. GAPL is in the manufacturing of entry solutions & automation with products like dock leveler, air craft hanger doors, ship yard hanger doors, boom barrier, high speed doors, automatic gates, vertical gates etc. They have 70% of market share in India, almost all the OEMs are in their cliental, they have an existence in more than 30 metropolis also having export in western & Asian countries. The company exist in India since 1990.I am Leading HR operations in corporate, plant & sales HR with ER & Admin with the help of 13 HR colleagues out of which 5 supports in HR operations & 6 are in recruitment with one GM recruitment. 2 of the HR supports stationed at plant & others along with recruitment team stationed at Mumbai corporate office, My reporting is to the Directors. I am Visiting plant every week for a day or two, rest 3 to 4 days working at corporate office. The major areas of concentration here are employees life cycle, C&B, KRA & KPI adherence, training needs & training programe management, recruitment in sales & marketing with other commercial departments. In the plant, facility administration, legal & statutory compliance, PR with govt. officials, employee relations, shop floor discipline are major areas. In last 6 months additionally given responsibility of upcoming two green field projects with its legal & statutory compliance & talent acquization. Also handling legal cases of old employees, along with group's recruitment, C&B with culture imbibing as well. Currently major objective is to start the new facility on which we are working i.e. of 4 lakhs sq. ft. facility of 100 Crore project at Bhivandi.
