As Workforce Lead for AWRA Establishment was responsible for:• Recruitment of the inaugural CEO, including:o multiple referrals to the Remuneration Tribunal for determinationo progressing the significant appointment process through Cabinet for both the non-statutory period and statutory periodso supporting the visa application process for the CEO and his familyo supporting independent contract negotiations for the non-statutory period• Working with the department’s executive, People Branch and external providers to progress SES recruitment including:o SES cap increaseo SES recruitmento Role evaluation and sizing• Mapping the capability requirements of ARWA’s future workforce including creating organisational charts for the first four years of operation and developing the associated position descriptions. These were key inputs to ARWA’s Cabinet submission to secure future funding.• Developing and implementing ARWA’s recruitment strategy including phasing of positions, preparing advertising material, identifying appropriate sourcing in a tight Adelaide candidate market • Conducting a successful overseas recruitment campaign• Providing input to draft enabling legislation• Preparing presentations and briefings for the Minister, Secretary and executive on the status of ARWA establishment• Providing input to the overarching ARWA implementation plan and project plans for each function
