• Information technology (IT) project team lead for the acquisition and integration of a medical device manufacturing company in Shanghai, China - Managed a team of IT infrastructure and application specialists to incorporate the acquisition company into Philips Medical - Created the IT project plan and timeline - Worked with multiple business areas to mitigate and/or resolve issues that occurred during the course of the project - Updated upper management on the IT project team progress towards goals during monthly meetings - Completed the IT portion of the project on time and on budget• Project manager for the replacement or retirement of all printers (240 devices) at the Philips-Ultrasound (Bothell) building A/warehouse locations - Created project plan, led extended project team meetings, organized and delivered end-user training, resolved issues as they occurred (i.e. broken devices delivered from the vendor, barcodes not printing from SAP) - Worked with the vendor to create a process for activating card readers in a reliable, consistent manner. Prior to this project, there was no standard procedure for this activity. - Successfully deployed printers to the production area of building A with no interruption to the business. This area was particularly difficult due to the wide range of customized applications designed to interact with a particular existing device. - Completed the project using only one Philips employee and two contractors. Other buildings with fewer devices required a project team of 20 Philips employees and contractors in order to complete identical activities. Additionally, those other buildings were logistically/technically less challenging than building A/warehouse.
