I opened my company with one goal in mind. Straightforward advisement. What I have come to learn in my time as an agent is there are very few people outside of those in this industry who understand what insurance is and how it works. I want to change that. I tell my client's all the time that insurance is a strategy and not a solution. I work hard to simplify the process of building customized plans so that the average person can understand what they are buying while also teaching them how to use it to their advantage. I work for the consumer, not the insurance company, and I want the consumer to win.

As a HealthMarkets broker, I represent over 200 carriers of Health | Medicare | Small Group | Life | Supplemental insurance products. This allows me to customize plans for my clients that are both comprehensive and affordable. Another benefit to having so many options to present my clients is that I can function as their one-stop shop insurance advisor rather than just a single product focused salesman. In each and every meeting, transaction, or other business related connection, my allegiance remains to my clients and not to any specific insurance carrier.

I started my career with the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office as a Deputy Sheriff assigned to patrol. Patrol is responsible for handling both emergency and non-emergency calls in an assigned neighborhood/area. Shortly thereafter, I transferred to the Sheriff’s Office Court Services Division and was assigned to a Circuit Judge. In that role, I enforced courtroom etiquette, ordered inmates for scheduled hearings, served warrants, collected DNA/fingerprints upon adjudication, and assisted in other miscellaneous tasks as needed. I continued my career track towards supervision by applying for and accepting a position as a field trainer. As a result of a sudden eye illness, I was unable to carry on in my role as a Law Enforcement officer and began searching for a new career field that would still allow me to serve my community albeit in a different role.

When I started with FIU Police I was assigned to the College of Law Building in the role of Police Security Technician. My primary duty was to ensure the safety of both students and faculty. In July 2012, I was promoted to Police Officer Trainee and subsequently attended the Miami Dade Police Training Center's FDLE Basic Law Enforcement class (PAC #95). In January of 2013, I graduated and passed my State Exam certifying me as a Law Enforcement Officer in the state of Florida. From there, I returned to FIU PD and began functioning as a fully sworn Law Enforcement Officer.
