    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Administering the operation of the plant on the company’s management system called BPCS (Business Planning Control System) Processing of production bookings on a daily basis Collection of data from shift controllers, stock controllers and production staff and feeding it in the system Analysis of production actual material usage, planned material usage and stock holding summary Analysis of all stock losses and gains and investigation of any adverse variances and taking corrective measures to eliminate the variance Planning and coordinating all in house daily, weekly and monthly stock taking, including weekly cycle count reporting Reconciliation of in house sales between production and the sales department, including shop orders and back flushing Analysis of the performance of the monthly production plan in comparison with actual production Coordinating with all BPCS users who are linked to production and the IT department in terms of operational transaction processing Carrying out system set ups in relation to new products and location changes Ensuring that correct stocks are reported which end up in the general ledger. Monitoring of stock levels and ensuring that updates are carried out and measures are put in place in ensuring safeguards against pilferage Analyzing reports both for production and BPCS Working with auditors at the end of the year and giving them information with regards to the operation and the queries encountered
