    I worked in immunotechniques for eight years in Agdia, Inc., a Biotechnology firm located in Elkhart, Indiana that produces immunoassays for plant pathogens, GMOs and small molecules. I occupied scientist, senior scientist a manager positions in Agdia. I worked in managing the antibody manufacturing, scaling up in immune-reagents (capture antibody and enzyme conjugates) manufacture, quality control, and product validation. I also developed an immunochromatography and ELISA for Phytophthora spp. I was involved in this project in details since the proposal, inmunogen preparations, developing monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies, screening the antibodies to select the best performed ones for immunochromatography test or ELISA. The development of these tests required antibody purification by diverse methods, conjugation to gold particles, biotin and enzymes, standardization of capture antibody and detecting antibodies and components of the test, sample preparation, stability studies and SOP for manufacture. I also was involved in the validation of the tests using different samples from different sources (plant, soil and water samples).
